With a golden-era glint, Brazilian hip-hop multidisciplinary artist Laíz is bridging the gaps of jazz, Tropicalia, Brazilian MPB and hip-hop, creating her own unique style encapsulated on her critically acclaimed debut album "Ela Partiu" for Agogo Records. Glowing with Pan-African collaborations, cultural/political messages of Latin America and the support of a community of musicians from the Americas, Africa and Europe. Laíz attempts to bring the sun and the streets of the south to the Jazz and Hip-Hop scene in Europe. Lyrically ruminating on immigration, Laiz sets herself to unite different communities under one Groove, lightning new paths for Brazilian music like Criolo, Marcelo D2 and Tom Zé attempted, this time outside of the homeland.
